Cooperation model

Ongoing legal and tax advisory

For family businesses that need regular support from an adviser who knows their structure, owners and long-term goals. We agree the scope of cooperation individually, depending on the scale of operations and the type of matters that arise.

When a business needs ongoing support

Not every family business is facing a change. Many businesses operate steadily but need day-to-day help with legal and tax decisions.

Ongoing cooperation may include, among other things:

  • advising on contracts and business decisions
  • supporting owners, the management board and other company bodies
  • assessing the tax consequences of planned actions
  • monitoring obligations and risks
  • responding to current questions
  • working with the accounting, finance or HR department
  • preparing the business for changes in legislation
  • support in dealings with authorities and other advisers

Ongoing advisory does not mean creating unnecessary procedures or involving an adviser in every minor decision. Its purpose is to provide access to a person who knows the context of the business and can recognise the significance of an emerging issue early enough.

Legal advisory

Ongoing legal support

I provide ongoing legal support to businesses that need an adviser who knows their operations, structure and the way decisions are made.

Ongoing support may complement the work of the owners, the management board, the accounting team, the finance director or an in-house legal department.

It may include:

  • advising on day-to-day business decisions
  • drafting and reviewing contracts
  • corporate support for companies
  • preparing resolutions and documentation of company bodies
  • analysing the liability of management board members
  • support in relations between shareholders
  • taking part in negotiations
  • coordinating matters that require the involvement of other specialists
  • responding to changes in legislation relevant to the business

Tax advisory

Ongoing tax advisory

I provide ongoing support to owners, management boards and people responsible for finance and accounting.

Ongoing tax advisory makes it possible to consult actions before they are implemented, rather than only when a problem or a question from the tax authority arises.

It may include:

  • advising on current transactions
  • assessing the tax consequences of contracts and decisions
  • supporting the accounting or finance department
  • preparing opinions and recommendations
  • monitoring changes relevant to the business
  • assistance in dealings with the tax authorities
  • coordinating additional specialists

We can start with a specific matter or with a conversation about ongoing support.

During the first conversation we will establish what the business currently needs and which cooperation model will be appropriate.
